Our Services

Burn Support

You or your loved one needs more than excellent medical care to make sense of what has happened. We provide support services while you’re a patient in the Regional Burn Center and throughout your recovery. In addition to chaplain services and family meetings, we offer:

Burn Survivor Support Group

This group meets with patients and families to answer questions related to rehabilitation and recovery. Members of the group include a social worker, burn center nurse, pastoral care, and burn survivors and their families. For information about support group meetings and to register to attend, call 610-402-CARE.

Burn Survivor Visits

Burn survivors who have become volunteers at the hospital are available to speak in person or by phone with any patient or family members (with the patient’s permission). The goal of these visits is to share lessons learned during their recovery and provide emotional support to the patient and family.

School Re-entry Program

The School Re-entry Program is offered for school-age children who have experienced a serious burn injury, involving classmates and teachers to help the child have a smooth re-entry into school.
